BBS seeks a part time voice teacher, who would teach voice lessons to children 8-18 years old.
Availability on Wednesday evenings is a plus but not a requirement.
- Master's degree is preferred, experience 5 years and more.
- Ability to teach healthy classical and musical theatre technique.
- Ability to provide basic accompaniment for the students during the lessons. There will be accompanist for the concerts.
- Ability and desire to teach small voice or choral group classes with younger kids.
- Ability to select repertoire that is age appropriate.
- Speaking two or more languages or being bilingual is a plus.
Salary for 35 min, 50 min, 65 min lessons to be discussed. Competitive pay.
Studio is in Needham, easy parking, bus 59 from Newton Highlands subway station.

Choral teacher assistant position

Boston Bilingual Singers is a choral studio for children. We teach small choir groups and offer instruction in piano and voice. We are passionate about choral singing and believe that everybody can benefit from singing! Besides offering choral, voice and piano lessons, we include music theory and music literature in the curriculum.
BBS seeks a part time choral teacher assistant who would teach small choral groups alongside with studio director. The studio operates from September to the middle of June. We also offer summer programs and optional lessons during the summer. We welcome people with positive energy, collaborative spirit and love to teaching children.
- Bachelor’s degree is required, Master's degree is preferred, experience 5 years and more. Choral and vocal educational combination is a plus, music education majors are welcome, other musical background will be considered and training provided.
- Ability to teach groups and maintain discipline in a classroom.
- Ability to provide basic accompaniment for the students during the lessons. There will be accompanist for the concerts.
- Ability and desire to teach younger kids.
- Speaking Russian is required for teaching younger children Our choral groups consist of many Russian speaking kids.
- A teacher must to pass CORY check and have a permission to work in USA.
Salary to be discussed and it is a W2 position.
